Portland Children's Museum inspires the wonder of learning in children and their families. Make a splash in our wetter and better Water Works. Dig into fun in the Dig Pit. Role-play in the KidCity Cafe and Grocery. Catch a show in the Imagination Theater. Put on a costume, paint your face and take center stage. Is that you on TV? Express your creativity in our art studios.The Museum has been serving Oregon since 1949 and is the sixth oldest Children's Museum in the United States.

- Opal School

CM2's Opal School is a public charter school of the Portland Public School District and a program of CM2. The students come from communities throughout the Portland area and are selected through an open lottery process. Opal opened in the fall of 2001 with 45 children, ages 3 to 6 years. The school adds one level each year until serving children preschool through fifth grade. Opal's second year begins September 4th. The goal of the Community Partnerships Program is to increase & improve access to the Portland Children's Museum and its programs for children of all ethnicities and abilities through partnership and collaboration with area agencies and schools.
As a Community Partner, some of the benefits your organization can receive include:
