- Autism Supports

Autism supports teach families, caregivers and educators a variety of positive, structured, visual support strategies that help people with autism and related disorders understand their environment and become more independent in daily life. Our work is based on the principles of Structured Teaching, developed by the University of North Carolina TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped CHildren) Division and Positive Behavior Support strategies.
- Employment Supports

Employment Supports help people learn to identify and implement quality employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities through individual assessment and training for employers and caregivers. OTAC provides direction for career search, community connections and lays the groundwork for successful support.
- Financial Management Services

Financial Management Services assist families and individuals with management and distribution of state and federal service funding to support self-directed services; including Fiscal Conduit, Government Employer Agent, Vendor Employer Agent, Government Third Party Payer, Agency with Choice, Supports Brokerage, and Spectrum Intermediary Service Organization.

the State of Oregon has developed a planning system that moves closer to supporting individuals to have a balanced life. Oregon Technical Assistance Corporation has had the pleasure of facilitating the development of the ISP process, training providers for the implementation and continuing to support stakeholders through classes and technical assistance. There is no charge for any of OTAC's ISP training and everyone is welcome to attend.
- Positive Behavior Supports

Positive behavior support (PBS) considers what is important to the person and for the person and implements those values into a comprehensive plan to address challenging behavior. PBS focuses on valued outcomes such as teaching or strengthening skills, enhancing relationships, and increasing participation in the community. OTAC behavior support staff provides specialized training and technical assistance to service providers who directly support people with developmental disabilities.
Staff specialization includes:
Behavior consultation for children and families
Behavior supports for adults and children with developmental disabilities
Behavior support and training for seniors in community residential programs
General staff training in behavior supports
Assessment and treatment of severely challenging behavior including self injury, pica, aggressive and assaultive behavior
Supporting people with autism and related disabilities
Comprehensive functional assessment, including behavioral aspects of person-centered planning
Mediation services around developing comprehensive behavior supports
Oregon Intervention System© (OIS©) services including workshops, behavior support development, program review - Person Centered Planning Project

Person Centered Planning facilitates the development of life plans that focus on a persons unique interests, strengths, gifts and resources as the foundation for all aspects of planning. We provide levels of technical assistance and support ranging from facilitating individual plans through mentoring others to become skilled trainers in some of these planning processes. The staff are trained in the following planning processes:

-Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope (PATH)
