Independence Northwest is a support services brokerage for adults with developmental disabilities, offering services as established under the Staley Lawsuit Settlement.
Employs staff (Personal Agents) who assist enrolled individuals by developing an individualized support plan, obtaining available resources as necessary to implement the support plan, selecting people or organizations to provide specific support services, and monitoring and evaluating the outcomes of delivered services.
Examples of supports that people receive are job training and retention skills, help with budgeting, meal planning, bus passes to get out in the community, recreational activities like camps or field trips, respite care, adapting appliances to your needs, installing ramps or grab bars and augmentative communication devices.

Brokerage Support Services are in-home or other personal supports that assist an individual to live in their own home or with family or friends and to fully participate in community life, including work. Support services are based upon people have choice and control over life goals and services. Each individual will receive an individual plan and will be able to select and monitor the providers of desired services.
