Living/caring for daughter with disability. Nursing certificate from Glasgow, Scotland. Early Childhood Education course work from PCC. Self-employed child care provider 1990-2005. Former respite provider, serving children with autism and medically fragile infants in the Foster Care Program. Experience with seizure disorders, feeding tubes, and the Kangaroo pump, medications and the daily care of a person with a disability. I was a childcare provider for 16 years and really enjoyed working with the families and having a flexible schedule. I have a disabled daughter who received respite, so I have been on both sides of the situation. Have used catheters, feeding tubes, and administered medication. I provide care in my own home.
