The Oregon Zoo is offering this experience for free as a community service. Recognizing that most kids enjoy the zoo, but some have a harder time than others getting to the zoo, the Oregon Zoo is inviting children with disabilities and chronic or terminal illnesses (birth to 18 years), plus their immediate families, to a FREE evening as a VIP at the zoo. This event will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, from 4pm - 8pm.
You must register before Wednesday, September 1, 2010, and can do so electronically at info@factoregon.org or by phone at 1.888.988.3228, leaving your first and last name and the number of people in your party who will be attending with you. Family and Community Together (FACT) is one of the many organizations assisting the Zoo in collecting registrations.
