What is the Everyday Life (EDL) Project?
The EDL project uses interactive, situation-based lessons to teach functional literacy skills. Each activity provides learners with the opportunity to test their knowledge of real-world situations and to develop the confidence and skills necessary to be successful in everyday life.

- Baking
- Grill Safety
- Food Labels
- Label Practice
- Microwave
Other categories with multiple activities include:
- Money
- Work
- Shopping
- Maps, Plans, and Schedules
- Bills and Budgeting
To use the modules you must create a username and password. You then have access to your learning profile where your activities are tracked for you.
Early modules were evaluated by students on the CTCC Campus of Portland Public Schools Transition Program. Students found them interesting and understandable.
